Picos de Open Interest
basicMovimentos bruscos de open interest (>5%) nos perps da Bybit — posições a acumular-se ou a desfazer-se rapidamente.
What it is
Open interest on a Bybit BTC, ETH, or SOL perpetual moves at least 5% between two 5-minute samples — a fast swing in how much leveraged exposure is open on the book.
Why it matters
Rising open interest means fresh leverage is piling in; falling open interest means positions are being closed. Both tend to precede volatility — new leverage can fuel a trend, and a fast unwind can trigger a liquidation-driven move.
How to read the alert
If OI is rising while price trends one way, that's fresh conviction confirming the move. If OI is dropping hard, positions are unwinding — treat it as a cue to check the chart and funding before sizing anything, not a signal to enter blind.
