What it is

A high-impact US macro release — FOMC, CPI, PCE, jobs data, GDP, or a Fed Chair appearance — is within 36 hours, and the countdown updates as it approaches.

Why it matters

Crypto trades against the dollar's macro tape. These releases reset rate and inflation expectations across every market at once, and crypto — the most reflexive risk asset — often moves first and hardest when a number surprises.

How to read the alert

If you're leveraged into the print, use the countdown to size down or step aside before it lands. If you're not time-sensitive, wait out the release — volatility usually spikes hard, then settles within the hour.
