Why it matters

High gas = MEV bots active, big NFT mint, or whale activity. Both an opportunity (something big is going on) and a risk (your tx might get front-run).

How to read the alert

About to swap? Wait 5–10 minutes for the spike to cool. Keep seeing spikes? Check what contract is burning gas — usually a hint of where the attention is. Don't pay 200 gwei just to swap meme coins.
